The name of a South Portland man killed in a car crash was misspelled in a photo caption on Page 1 of the July 7 issue of the Current. His name, which was properly spelled in the story, was Dawaun Morgan.

On the same page of the same paper, the displacement of a U.S. Navy ship that visited Portland for July 4 was misstated. The USS Iwo Jima displaces 40,000 tons.
