In Cape Elizabeth, there will be a fireworks display at Fort Williams Park following the Portland Symphony Orchestra’s performance on Saturday, July 2. Admission is by ticket only – buy tickets to the concert at www.porttix.com. The fireworks can also be seen from other vantage points along the shore.

There are no displays in Scarborough or South Portland, but Old Orchard Beach and Portland are having events that will be visible in some areas of Scarborough and South Portland.

In Old Orchard Beach, the fireworks begin at 9:45 p.m. Monday, July 4, on the beach next to the pier. They can be seen from Pine Point Beach and Ferry Beach in Scarborough.

In Portland, the fireworks will begin at about 9 p.m. Monday, July 4, on the Eastern Promenade. The area will be closed off to vehicles for much of the day. They can be seen from Bug Light Park and other areas along South Portland’s harborside waterfront.
