Fall sports stretch run underway- Northern edition

Golf crowns its champions, while football, soccer, field hockey, volleyball and cross country campaigns wind down.

Memorable contests were plentiful last week.

David Creech, a longtime coach and administrator, replaces Susan Robbins as Yarmouth’s athletic director.

But at the Yarmouth Clam Festival and elsewhere, summer activities proceed … with a few adjustments.

Seventeen church congregants from Yarmouth, most of them retirees, head for Texas to see the border crisis for themselves.
