Pedestrian struck on Maine St.

A pedestrian was treated and released at Mid Coast Hospital Tuesday afternoon, after being struck by a car while crossing Maine Street. The accident occurred about 1 p.m. in front of the Rite-Aid pharmacy. The victim’s name was not released and no further information was available.

Topsham train car fire was site’s 7th since ’95

The two-alarm fire Sunday at Grimmel Industries was the seventh fire in less than two decades at the scrap metal recycling plant.
