Sierra Zahares: Freeport High School

She’s educating the world about what it’s like to have Moebius syndrome, a rare neurological condition.

Coming from high schools across southern Maine, these outstanding members of the class of 2019 have already accomplished a lot and plan to do more.

Rohan Freedman has already dived into the work of improving and increasing the world’s food supply.

He arrived in Maine two years ago and aspires to become a lawyer who will fight for workers’ rights.

A fraternal triplet, he has drawn lessons in compassion and leadership from his unusual family situation.
