Three out-of-state skiers lose privileges at Sugarloaf after skiing out of bounds

Two men from New Hampshire and a man from Massachusetts had to be rescued after getting lost when they skied off the back of the mountain.

The bucket list item for Katahdin’s peaks – plus 12 – has been checked. And there are photos to prove it.

Two Maine resorts and one in New Hampshire have special promotions for their final days.

The resort says skiers were stranded for five to 10 minutes before it switched to auxiliary power.
