The post resumes its original name, Kenison-Hooper Post 128, honoring the town’s fallen soldiers.

The longstanding dispute involves the island’s approval of a referendum to withdraw from the school district, which is prohibited in state statute.

The incident Sunday night is the second time since October that the suspect stole a U-Haul truck and crashed it, police say.
