The Maine Suitcase Party included a drawing to win one of several Maine getaways and raised $200,000 to send children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to the Sebago Lake camp.

The launch of MaineShare Giving was the focus of the grant-making organization’s Changemakers event.

The nonprofit’s Art Deck-O event raised around $22,000 for its arts integration programming.

The ocean education nonprofit held an open house at its workspace overlooking Portland Harbor.

The Third Place gave out awards to leaders in politics, journalism, medicine, tourism and more.

The Aug. 8 fundraiser benefited the Portland museum’s programming.
