Scarborough Historical Society & Museum applies for Alger Hall lease

The Scarborough Historical Society & Museum has formally applied to lease Alger Hall, seeking to address space constraints and enhance its mission of preserving Scarborough’s history by utilizing the historical venue for presentations, expanded exhibits, and community engagement. The Scarborough Land Trust has also requested leasing the building.

Portland Water District Trustees approve combined $108.7 million operating and capital budget for 2024

Portland Water District’s Board of Trustees approved a combined $60.1 million water and wastewater operating budget and a $48.6 million capital budget for 2024 at the Nov. 27, public meeting.
