All three City Council candidates are unopposed, as are two of the four School Board candidates.

The bond would essentially rebuild the 50 year old Front Street facility that city officials say is subject to hydraulic back ups, increased demand on the service, and poor ability to meet anticipated regulatory requirements.

Christina Shea told the board her resignation, for personal reasons, would be effective Sept. 3. Arthur Tardif resigned a week ago, citing medical reasons.
