Australian developer agrees to buy Saddleback ski resort

The Majella Group pledges to turn Maine’s third-largest ski area ‘into the premier ski resort in North America.’

A public relations firm representing the resort said details of sale of Maine’s third-largest ski area would be released Wednesday.

No one is injured but the FAA is investigating.

A call for assistance at the blaze near Rangeley drew emergency crews from throughout Franklin County.

Christopher Mathieu, 26, of Waterville, lost control of his truck amid slippery road conditions, police said.
