The Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland issues a statement of support for the Islamic center after it received the note last week.

It’s the first time the city has taken such an extreme measure to get a landlord to address issues under its disorderly houses ordinance.

Under the current system 25 cents buys 15 minutes, but that will change under the new system.

The two separate incidents did not affect water service to customers, according to the Portland Water District.
