Even as the pandemic continues to test our society and how we relate to one another, we don’t have to look far to find people who, every day, disregard differences to help their fellow humans. Our 2021 Mainers to Be Thankful For have provided housing, clothing, comfort and support to people in their communities – often strangers – with only the satisfaction of making a difference in return. We hope that by sharing their stories, they serve as examples for us all.
