Two Maine House races headed to recounts

Unofficial results in both races show a Democratic incumbent edging out a Republican challenger in Waldo County districts.

Sachs defeated Republican Finegan at the polls on Tuesday with 4,203 to his 2,146, according to results released early Wednesday morning.

Tucker, a Democrat, won his fourth and final two-year term with 4,116 votes to Michael Lawler’s 1,497, according to unofficial results.

Unofficial results Tuesday night show Arford with 3,275 votes to Fred Horch’s 3,054.
