Kennebunk student turns his fight into inspiration

At 7 years old, Jackson Kalbhenn has made the decision to serve as a St. Baldrick’s Foundation ambassador, fighting against childhood cancer.

Over $1.2 million in funding will restore and enhance freshwater and coastal wetlands.

Mandy Cummings will serve as the interim RSU 21 School Board member for Arundel this year.

Matthew Stratford will serve as the next school board chair.

An updated noise ordinance would allow for police to take action against excessive noise earlier than 10 pm.

The project will raise the elevation of the pier to avoid water damage and flooding during future storms.

With over 40 preserves and trails in the area, the Kennebunk Land Trust hopes to conserve land for recreational and climate use.

Chair Lesley Stoeffler and Claudia Sayre will step down effective Jan. 6. Both will still remain on the school board.

Small restaurants in Saco, Biddeford, and Kennebunk are shutting their doors before 2025.

Current Town Manager Heather Balser announced her resignation last month.
