Kennebunk police search for suspect in alleged theft

An unidentified man is wanted in connection with an alleged theft of over $7,000 on Fletcher Street.

Despite residents’ plea to close the street this year, the town stands firm on their decision.

The threat was allegedly made during a homecoming event over the weekend, and was quickly taken care of.

Residents say they want unrestricted access to their homes, and town officials say the large trick-or-treat gathering has raised safety concerns.

Pride flags were stolen off of their Main Street poles just hours after a Pride in the Bunks event.
