Woman, 43, killed in single-vehicle crash in Readfield, police say

Martha Shellman, identified as the driver, was involved in another crash minutes earlier in Belgrade, according to police.

Daniel R. Ross, 29, is accused of sexually assaulting and threatening a woman. He has been fired and remains jailed.

Michael Holmes, 71, was last seen Thursday leaving Tower Road with plans to go to Winthrop.
