Meet the southern Maine golfers to watch in 2025

Defending Class A co-champion Joe Hansen of Greely heads the list of top returning players in the Portland Press Herald’s coverage area.

Higher demand and simpler evaluations are big reasons why the state has sent more pitchers than position players to elite college competition.

But it isn’t all chill and grill: athletes and coaches share some of the ways they’ve used the past couple weeks to prepare for the fall season.
