Case of teen charged in Union paddleboarder’s death is no longer public

The 17-year-old suspect is charged with murder in the death of 48-year-old Sunshine Stewart of Tenants Harbor.

Family members of the 17-year-old boy suspected of killing 48-year-old Sunshine Stewart this month spoke publicly for the first time.

Atum Hosea, 12, who was last seen in Winterport around 11:30 a.m. Friday, was found safe that evening, police said.

They conspired to illegally manufacture, package and distribute marijuana from a facility in Waldo County, according to the U.S. attorney.

James Mansfield was among those running an illegal operation from which 400 marijuana plants and 296 marijuana root balls were seized.
