Cumberland council votes to lower speed limit on Tuttle Road to 25 mph

HART yard sale exceeds goal by $8,000
The Homeless Animal Rescue Team of Maine raised $68,736 at its annual yard sale in August. The sale at the Cumberland Fairgrounds exceeded HART’s goal by $8,000. The Cumberland organization, in a press release, said it was grateful for the community’s support and generosity and for its volunteers hard work.
Yarmouth Town Council votes to support ‘trail until rail’
The council unanimously agrees to recommend that the Legislature approve the use of an old rail line between Portland and Auburn for recreation.
