The United States Marshals Service – Maine Violent Offender Task Force, of which Biddeford Police is a part, participated in the investigation.

Julius Andrade is being held without bail at Bristol County, Massachusetts House of Corrections pending a Feb. 22 detention hearing.

“There are many young people in our community who struggle with homelessness, adverse childhood experiences, abuse, neglect, substance abuse, and early involvement with the criminal justice system,” said Assistant Superintendent Chris Indorf. “We recognize that an ‘ounce of prevention’ can go a long way.”
