Cape Elizabeth council passes school budget, despite one councilor’s attempt to slash it
The Cape Elizabeth Town Council rejects Councilor Timothy Reiniger’s proposal to reduce the $34.2 million budget to stem a recent history of yearly increases during declining enrollment. The budget now goes to town voters for validation.
