The event, now in its second year, is an initiative to bring writers of all kinds to Brunswick to show kids why writing matters and its importance in day-to-day life.

Brunswick council approves MRRA to use nearly $700,000 in TIF funds for continued redevelopment efforts
The funds will be used for street, sidewalk and parking lot resurfacing, building improvements, vehicle replacement, streetlights, upgrades to the water and electrical distribution systems, taxiway repairs and technology upgrades among others.
With the downtown mall suffering, Brunswick Farmers Market may move to Park Row
The plan would require that Park Row become a one-way street running North to South, and staff would install pedestrian barricades behind the vendors.
