Brunswick-Topsham bridge inspection finds more deterioration
The Maine Department of Transportation inspected the Frank J. Wood Bridge in early September and found the bridge deck has advanced corrosion damage to direct deck support components but remains safe for motorists, said spokesman Paul Merrill.

‘It’s important not to forget these people’: Local veterans to be honored in new plaza
The new veterans plaza incorporates the existing downtown monument, which has been rotated 180 degrees, as well as a separately funded purple heart monument.
