Due to structural issues found with the leased Recycling Barn, the town is considering temporary locations to house the recycling operation for the winter.

The selectmen diverged from the tradition of honoring a single resident every September for their contributions to the town, to instead recognize the hard work of the town’s many farmers who had to adapt to the pandemic as the demand for local food increased.

Selectmen voted to set the tax rate for 2020-21 at $16.87 per $1,000 of assessed value, which is an additional $80 for a home assessed at $200,000.
