by St.Germain Collins adds firm St.Germain Collins in Westbrook has acquired Black Point Environmental, LLC, according to a press release. “This merger will expand our environmental and engineering team, allowing us to offer a larger array of consulting services to a more diverse client base,” according to St.Germain Collins’ release. Donald McFadden, president of Black Point Environmental, will join the St.Germain Collins as senior project manager. In addition to his environmental investigation and remediation work as a Maine certified geologist, McFadden also has expertise in water resource management, from permitting gravel pits and quarries for the aggregate industry to ensuring that fire professionals have access to adequate water capacity to protect homes and businesses in rural Maine. ‘Rejoicing Spirits’ at Trinity Trinity Lutheran Church, 612 Main St., Westbrook, will hold its monthly “Rejoicing Spirits” worship service at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 13. “Rejoicing Spirits” is a worship service for persons with cognitive and/or developmental disabilities. The service precedes fellowship and a supper. The church has wheelchair accessibility and an American Sign Language interpreter will be provided. Antique homes tour Local history enthusiasts have an opportunity this month to tour four 17th century homes in northeastern Massachusetts. The Tate House Museum in Stroudwater is sponsoring a special bus trip on Saturday, April 19, to visit Parson Capen House (1683), the Dickenson-Pillsbury-Witham House (1693-1700), The Swett-Ilsley House (1676) and the Peter Toppan House (1694). Owners will serve as tour guides. The tour cost is $60.
