Meet the author
Eric Russell is a news editor at the Portland Press Herald overseeing politics, education and the Maine Trust for Local News’ quick strike team. Prior to that, he was a general assignment reporter at the Press Herald for 12 years and has been a journalist in Maine since 2004. Eric grew up in Southern Maine, went to college at the University of Maine in Orono and now lives in Brunswick with his wife and two daughters.
