Today will be relatively milder as highs climb into the 20s for the afternoon with mostly sunny skies. A strong nor’easter will move in tomorrow with strong winds and over a foot of snow for parts of Maine.

Tuesday will be another cold one with some snow possible late in the day for parts of the region.

The new year will start with highs in the single digits for most and wind chill values below zero.
