Binghamton scores nine runs in its final two at-bats to down Portland, which has lost four straight games for the first time this season.

Portland manages just one run while dropping both games of a doubleheader as the Mets creep closer.

The road to Boston runs through Portland, and an All-Star selection is a big step in that direction.

Portland, which will have five players in the Eastern League All-Star game, falls at Binghamton.
