Tinkerbus coming to Fiddlehead Center for the Arts
The Tinkerbus is a modified 26-foot school bus that is now a classroom and project space. The Tinkerbus will expand the capacity for summer camps at Fiddlehead Center for the Arts, as well as be able to travel to schools for enrichment programs.
South Portland City Council sends letter urging passage of Asylum Seeker Work Authorization Act of 2023
The act would allow asylum seekers to work as soon as 30 days after applying for asylum, as opposed to the over six-month wait under current federal law.
