Union members will vote on the new contract online and via telephone starting Friday and closing at noon Sunday. If union members approve the new contract, the strike will officially end.

Harpswell tax rate increases 4 cents
This year’s property tax rate is $6.74 per $1,000 of valuation, 4 cents more than last year’s rate. A property assessed at $200,000 will now see a tax bill of $1,348, up from $1,340 in 2019.
