Brunswick’s The Daniel to remain a hotel under new buyers
Despite initial plans to convert the building into senior housing, new owners Bella Point Holdings LLC have decided to reopen the historic inn as an “upscale hotel,” according to the buyer’s broker. The hotel sold at auction for $1.6 million.

Multi-million-dollar renovations planned for Brunswick’s historic Lemont Building
New owners Aaron Turkel and Cleo Vauban plan to build five luxury apartment units and renovate the Lemont Hall for meetings and events while preserving the 150-year-old building’s character. They are completing the project with the help of Maine’s Historic Tax Credit program.
