Man charged with burglarizing two cars in Portland’s Parkside area

The arrest followed a tip from a citizen who noticed a suspicious male.

The vehicle crashed after a police chase and had been stopped for speeding an hour earlier by Rockport police.

One of Portland’s most scenic neighborhoods is changing from a paradise to a parking lot, residents say.

The additional ship, if funding is approved by Congress, would be the result of a division of work agreement.

The financially embattled ferry moved from the Ocean Terminal to a harbor anchorage Saturday morning.

Eric Olin, 30, was arrested after breaking into a former girlfriend’s home in Parsonsfield, the York County Sheriff’s Office says.

It’s a blow to the landmark store’s employees, shoppers and the more than 130 dealers who sold items there.

Automated calls were made from out of state to stores across the state Saturday night.

Police warn residents to lock their vehicles after several car burglaries on Harvest Lane Wednesday or Thursday.

Customers, merchants and a homeless shelter all benefit.
