NEW HIRES
Theresa Taplin joined R.M. Davis as a personal affairs management administrator.
She will be responsible for direct service to clients, ensuring that personal and financial household affairs are organized and taken care of in a timely manner.
She brings more than 20 years of administrative support experience.
The firm also hired Reid Smith as a vice president and portfolio manager.
Based in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire, office, he brings 25 years of leadership experience in the field. He previously served as vice president for David Wendell & Associates Inc. of Portsmouth.
Kirsten Allen has joined Macpage LLC as an audit associate.
Allen, of Litchfield, recently completed an internship with Macpage. She previously worked as a teller at a credit union in Maine, where she was responsible for various accounting related tasks.
John Quesnel has joined Katahdin Trust as vice president, managed assets officer.
Quesnel, of Hampden, was previously with People’s United Bank in Bangor, where he served as vice president, business banker.
Angela Butler joined Katahdin Trust Co. as senior vice president, commercial services officer.
She joined Katahdin Trust after spending more than 22 years at People’s United Bank and Merrill Bank. Most recently, she served as a senior vice president, commercial banking region manager in Bangor.
University Credit Union has hired Stephanie Beck as a marketing manager.
She previously worked in marketing at a local law firm. She has a background in sales and management and brings experience in brand development and public relations.
PROMOTIONS
University Credit Union has expanded its management team with two promotions.
Shauna Baker was promoted to operations manager. She has been with the credit union for more than 12 years and most recently served as training manager.
Stacey Young was promoted to retail services manager.
She has been with UCU for more than three years, most recently as manager of its Bangor branch. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry.
PROMOTIONS
Barbara Tuttle of Pownal was named the new manager of Bath Savings in Bath
Tuttle, an assistant vice president, has been with Bath Savings for 18 years. She previously served as branch manager of the bank’s Yarmouth branch.
She replaces Patricia Taggart, who joined Bath Savings as a teller 18 years ago. She is retiring as vice president and branch manager of the bank’s main office in Bath.
Julie Marquis was named CEO of Five County Credit Union.
Marquis, of Brunswick, had served as executive vice president and chief operating officer since July 2013. She joined the credit union in 1993.
AWARD and RECOGNITIONS
Seth Webber, a principal at BerryDunn, was recognized by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts as its Outstanding Member Award winner.
Peter Fendler, president of Norton Financial Services; and Ray Emery, a financial consultant with the company, were recently recognized in their industry.
Fendler is president of Norton Financial Services in Cumberland, and Emery is a financial consultant at Norton Financial Services. They have both achieved Commonwealth President’s Club status for 2016.

Tucker Cole, president and CEO of Maine State CU, was elected to a three-year term to serve as a director on the Maine CU League Board of Directors.
Richard Lachance, president and CEO of Connected CU, was elected chair.
Kyle Casburn, president and CEO of Seaboard FCU, was elected vice chair.
David Desjardins, president and CEO of Acadia FCU, was elected secretary.
Scott Chretien, president and CEO of York County FCU, was elected treasurer.
