A Westbrook woman missing since early Tuesday has been found safe, police said.

Police had issued a public appeal for help finding Diane Sanders, 61 who had left her group home on Chesley Street at 11 a.m. She was found this morning just before 9:30 a.m., police said, though they did not provide details on where she was found.

WESTBROOK — Westbrook police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 61-year-old woman who has been missing since 11 a.m. today.

Police said Diane Sanders left her group home on Chesley Street on foot. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, charcoal gray sweater, gray sweatpants, and black shoes.

Sanders is not completely able to care for herself, police said.

Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts is asked to contact the Westbrook Police Department at 854-0644.
