Farm Truck Juice, a new organic juice bar, will open Thursday in Portland’s West End.

The juice bar, located at 189 Brackett St., is a worker-owned cooperative that will use only raw ingredients sourced mostly from Maine farms. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Walter Loeman, the restaurateur who founded Walter’s and Perfetto’s in the Old Port, is the co-founder of Farm Truck Juice. Other partners in the business are Ry Russell and Lincoln Dresser, both marketing professionals; merchandising director Stephanie Lyman; retail manager Joseph Loeman; and Tyler Pierce, local farm forager.

Russell said there will be eight drinks on the menu to start, but that will expand to 13 by the weekend.
