Wells High School cheerleaders won the Western Maine Conference cheerleading championships Saturday at Sacopee Valley High School. The Warriors scored 65.2 points, finishing ahead of Gray-New Gloucester (63.6) and Freeport (61.2). Other teams who competed were Poland, Lake Region, Greely, Sacopee Valley, Traip Academy and Kennebunk. Wells team members Kaylei Ayer, Caeli Beecher, Casey Bernhardt, Sarah Boston, Brianna Crocker, Rose Fanning, Seana Grealey, Katelyn Greenwood, Kellie Haggerty, Devyn Harding, Olivia Holdsworth, Allyson Howard, Alayna Iriana, Cait LaChance, Madi Lavalle, Alana Moisan, Margaret Patterson, Jade Perkins, Gabby Peters and Jasmine Webber. The coaches are Sara Littlefield and Jen Sanna.
