James Shannon White
CAPE ELIZABETH – James Shannon White, 90, of Cape Elizabeth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025.
He was born on Jan. 5, 1935, in Kansas City, Mo. He served in the Marine Corps, where he achieved the rank of captain and completed the flight training program. He attended and graduated from Cornell University, where he met his wife, Judith.
James worked in finance, where he had a successful career in real estate investment. He was an avid trap shooter and was nationally ranked. James was always delving into new interests and enjoyed life fully.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer, and two sons, James and Jonathan.
He is loved and missed and joins his wife, Judith, who passed in March of this year.
