Biddeford’s Marcelo Malonda scored midway through the first half, and Windham’s Dylan Crockett equalized in the 34th minute as the Tigers and Eagles played to a 1-1 draw in a Class A South boys soccer match Saturday in Windham.

Ghanisthan Alexandre Keto assisted on Malonda’s goal.

Tate Robinson of Windham (0-1-1) made nine saves, while Tyler Pelletier stopped three shots for Biddeford (2-0-1).

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Blake Gemelli made nine saves for Spruce Mountain (1-1-1) while Tanner Hale stopped five shots for Sacopee Valley (0-1-1)in a scoreless tie in Jay.

FOOTBALL

TRAIP ACADEMY 52, MOUNT VIEW 16: JV Blance rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns as the Rangers (1-1) beat the Mustangs (0-1) in Thorndike.

Ben Martine added 68 yards rushing and two touchdowns, while Seamus Berry had 46 yards on the ground and a pair of scores. Jack Byron also ran for a TD, and Max Jordan threw a touchdown pass to Matt Whittenberg.

FIELD HOCKEY

SANFORD 5, NOBLE 1: Reese Beaudoin and Ella Tederous both scored twice as the Spartans (3-1) defeated the Knights (3-1) in North Berwick.

Miranda Payeur also scored, and Beaudoin and Paige Sevigny each had an assist.

Noble got a goal from Alyssa Plante, assisted by Ashley Merchant.

LAKE REGION 4, OXFORD HILLS 0: Nica Walter and Abigail Travis both scored twice for the Lakers (1-2) in a victory over the Vikings (0-4) in Paris.

WAYNFLETE 4, WELLS 0: Nicole Adler, Ava Vander Schaaff and Drew Nelson each had a goal and an assist for the Flyers (2-1) in a win over the Warriors (1-1) at Wells.

Alex Leopold rounded out the scoring. Mya Clark made two saves for the shutout, while Carys Ramsey of Wells stopped eight shots.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 6, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Aidan Pease and Alaina Kachnovich each scored twice as the Phoenix (3-0) rolled to a win over the Raiders (1-2) in Fryeburg.

Grace Cuthbertson and Linda Lake each added a goal and an assist.

Goalies Kyleigh Marcotte of Spruce Mountain and Brenna Slosberg of Fryeburg both made 12 saves.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/NYA 1, EDWARD LITTLE 0: A second-half goal by Lydia Trytek propelled the Patriots (2-1) to a win over the Red Eddies (2-2) in Gray.

MT. BLUE 2, MT. ARARAT 1: The Cougars (2-1) defeated the Eagles (2-1-1) in overtime in a KVAC matchup in Topsham.

Lily Huntley and Keira Adams scored for Mt. Blue, while Kali Judkins, Morgan Hersey and Amelia Chick each had an assist. Goalie Gwen Lesperance made eight saves.

Lily Ouellette scored Mt. Ararat’s goal. Jaymie Bergman stopped 18 shots.

BRUNSWICK 6, MORSE 0: Grace Roak scored three goals as the Dragons (1-3) beat the Shipbuilders (1-2) in Bath.

Darby Brown notched a goal and an assist, while Bella Bates and Adeline Magenis also scored. Stella Maxim added an assist.

WINDHAM 5, SANFORD 0: Neve Ledbetter notched a hat trick, and Mackenzie Delewski and Logan Curry also scored for the Eagles (1-1) in a win over the Spartans (1-2) in Sanford.

Sanford keeper Sophie Olivo made 16 saves.

CHEVERUS 6, BIDDEFORD 0: Taylor Hoglund recorded a hat trick as the Stags (1-1) defeated the Tigers (0-3) in Biddeford.

Nina Brown added two goals and Maddie Smith had one.

MARANACOOK 1, LAKE REGION 0: Phoebe Bell scored midway through the second half, giving the Black Bears (3-0) a victory over the Lakers (1-2) in Readfield.

Maranacook outshot Lake Region by a 12-1 margin.

MORSE 1, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Bryn Gilmore scored for Gray-New Gloucester (0-2-1) and Zoe Nicholson answered for Morse (2-0-1) in a tie at Gray.

Ashley Anderson earned an assist on Gilmore’s goal.

Mallory Hardiman stopped 13 shots for the hosts, while Morse’s Hannah Keller made six saves.

GORHAM 3, NOBLE 1: Anna Nichols broke a 1-1 tie midway through the first half, and Taylor Chadburn and Elle Hanley also scored as the Rams (3-0) defeated the Knights (2-1) in Gorham.

All four goals were in the first half. Noble’s Hannah Perro tied the game after an opening goal by Chadburn.

Gorham keeper Sawyer VonderHaar was credited with seven saves. Emeilya Cheney of Noble stopped 10 shots.
