Carol Emily Plumb
YORK – Carol Emily Plumb, 85, of Jeremiah Lane, in York, passed peacefully with family by her side, on Aug. 20, 2025 after a short illness.
Born in Boston, Mass., to Josephine (Keck) and Charles Arthur Ridgway.
She loved cooking and baking for family and friends, enjoyed delicious meals and always had room for dessert.
She was also artistically gifted in embroidery, crochet, cake decorating, painting, basket weaving, flourishing plants and gardens.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Kenneth J. Plumb Sr.
Survived by her daughters Jennifer Dean of Pepperell, Mass., Doreen Dean and Anne Gonsalves of Woburn, Mass.; grandchildren Sean and Derek Tripp; great-grandchildren Paisley and Carter Tripp, all of Massachusetts; her sister, Ann Rubell of Palm Desert, Calif.; nieces Jessica Baker of West Yarmouth, Mass. and Deborah Lamoureaux of Temecula, Calif.; stepson, Kenneth Plumb Jr. of Haverhill, Mass. and stepdaughter, Patricia Plumb of Rochester, N.Y.
A celebration of life will be held privately.
