Nettie Pollard
SPRINGVALE – Nettie Pollard, 95, was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, great grand aunt, and a friend to many. Nettie passed peacefully on June 26, 2025, at the Lodges in Springvale.
She was born in Sanford Maine Feb. 7, 1930, to parents Chet and Vera Galeucia. She graduated from Sanford High School. She married David Pollard on October 17th, 1953. David, Nettie, and daughter Colleen lived in South Portland for most of their lives. Full obituary available at http://www.hobbsfuneralhome.com
Visiting hours will be at Hobbs Funeral Home 230 Cottage Road, South Portland on Thursday July 3, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Private burial at the Veterans Cemetery in Augusta where Nettie will lay to rest beside her husband.
