NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Joyce E. (Preece) Kelly passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025 at her home in North Andover, Mass. She was born in Portland on Jan. 15, 1947 to John and Flora (Robinson) Preece.
Growing up in Portland, Joyce graduated from Deering High School in 1965 and received her bachelor’s degree from Colby College in 1969. She worked her professional career with New England Telephone Company (AT&T), where she met her future husband, Myles Kelly. They were married in 1984 and settled in North Andover Mass.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Myles; and her sister, Priscilla.
She is survived by her nieces Laurie and Lynnda, nephew, David; son-in-law, Stephen, and their families; and a lifelong friend. Mary Phillips Davis, whom she met in 7th Grade. Joyce’s burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Falmouth.
