Voters in the Bonny Eagle School District on Tuesday approved a $66 million school budget for the coming year.
The MSAD 6 budget was approved by a vote of 1,688-1,180, according to Superintendent Clay Gleason. The district includes Buxton, Frye Island, Hollis, Limington and Standish.
According to unofficial totals from the towns, Standish residents voted 766-438 in favor of the budget. Hollis residents also supported the budget by a vote of 474-271.
Buxton residents voted against it 379-368. Limington voters narrowly rejected it by a vote of 85-80.
The seven voters on Frye Island all voted against the budget.
