The town of Kennebunk announced a change to the operating hours of the town office. Beginning June 16, the town office will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This is a change from the current hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. According to a news release, like many area towns, the town of Kennebunk is looking to offer flexible schedules that support employee well-being while still providing high levels of service to the public. The changes will better position Kennebunk in recruiting and retaining top talent.
The Kennebunk Select Board approved the change on May 27 with a 7-0 vote. Town office staff will continue to be available between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. for all regular town services, including permits, licensing, public records, and more. The town also continues to offer many online services.
