Delora T. Fearon

GORHAM – Delora T. Fearon, 87, passed away on May 15, 2025, at the Barron Center in Portland, following a long illness. She was born in Westbrook on March 20, 1938, the daughter of the late Jesse and Adeloza Ledoux Leighton.

She graduated from Gorham High School in 1956. She is one of four children. Late brother Leo Leighton of Gorham and sister Geneva L. Larrabee of Westbrook. She is survived by brother Eugenne A. Leighton of Ocala, Fla.

She married Stanley M. Fearon in 1956 and began raising their family. She is survived by daughter Lucinda Lyn Drown, late husband Wayne (Pooch), son Lawrence Fearon and wife Linda, son Paul S. Fearon, Sr. and wife Crystal from Gorham; 14 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She worked at S.D. Warren as a central dispatcher for three years.

She was part-owner with her husband Stanley and son Paul Sr. at Lyn’s Springs Service in New Gloucester since its inception in 1992 as secretary and bookkeeper, until her retirement in 2007.

In the winter she enjoyed snowmobiling with her late husband Stanley and motorcycle trips to Canada in the summer.

Visitation will be held at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home, 434 River Road Windham, Maine on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 1 – 2 p.m., with a service to follow.
