Linda Aspinall
PORTLAND – Linda Aspinall, 74, born June 18, 1950, passed away on April 5, 2025, in Portland.
She grew up in Woburn, Mass., and graduated from New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Boston. She lived in South Portland most of her adult life. She is now in her heavenly home celebrating in the presence of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior.
Linda’s life was one of caring and giving. Her 40 years of nursing showed her love of mankind. She attended Webbs Mills Free Baptist Church summers. When in South Portland, she attended Hope Community Church (formerly First Baptist) Linda’s last few months were spent at the Barron Center in Portland.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Edna Dodge.
She is survived by many loving relatives, including her faithful and caring husband, Lloyd; daughter, Amy (Brian) Pelkey; and grandson, Tyson; brothers Douglas (Janice) Dodge, and Larry (Mary) Dodge, sister, Nancy (Rick) Fitzgerald; and Aunt Marion. Also remembered are stepson, Aaron (Erin) and his children Hera and Otto;l and stepdaughter, Christina and her children Leah and Jack who helped considerably in Linda’s care in the last years of her life. There are so many wonderful nieces, nephews, their spouses and children, it would take pages to list them all.
On April 26 at 10 a.m., a memorial service and reception will be held in South Portland, at Hope Community Church, 879 Sawyer St., honoring her life. A burial service will follow the reception at Highland Cemetery in Limerick, for anyone wishing to make the journey.
