Liselotte Zimmermann

SACO – Liselotte “Lilo” Zimmermann, 90, of Lincoln Street, passed away April 12, 2025, at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.

She was born Dec. 16, 1934, in Heidelburg, Germany the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Frank.

Lilo was a performer and traveled with the circus through Germany and France. She later did secretarial duties before she and her family came to the United States in 1960. Her husband “Red” was sponsored by Douglas and Gladys Pate.

Lilo enjoyed skiing, board and card games and gardening

Mrs. Zimmermann was predeceased by her husband “Red” Zimmermann and a son, Frank Kenneth Zimmermann in 1980. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Adams of Saco; grandchildren, Jonathon and Laura Adams; and a great-grandchild, Jaedyn Adams all of Saco.

Visiting hours are to be held Friday, April 18, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main Street, Saco.

A 12 p.m., noon, funeral will be held at the funeral home with burial to follow at the family lot in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Fairfield Section.
