Albert Allen Dadiego

PORTLAND – Albert Allen Dadiego, 48, of Portland, passed away on March 22, 2025, in Portland.

He was born on June 6, 1976, a son of Geraldine (Dadiego) Grosso and Albert Bresette. Albert was well loved by everyone, especially his extended family and many friends. He was very affectionate and loving, and had a special bond with his maternal grandfather growing up. Albert wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone in need. He held some tough jobs over the years including roofing, property maintenance and commercial towing. He had a passion for all types of music and enjoyed going to live concerts.

He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Gennaro and Catherine Palermo Dadiego, paternal grandparents, Albert Bresette Sr. and wife Gloria; cousin, David Dadiego whom he was especially close with; aunt, Rebecca Bresette and uncle, Robert Bresette.

He is survived by his son, Gennaro Dadiego; mother, Geraldine Dadiego Grosso and husband Alan Grosso; brother, Dominic Grosso; father, Albert Bressette Jr.; brother, Scott Bressette, sister, Shawna (Bresette) Iankoulova; aunts Mary Jo Dadiego, Patricia Kroot, Lucretia Dadiego and Catherine Dadiego, uncles Raymond and John Bresette, aunt, Doris (Bresette) Ferrante, Kimberly Bresette, Cindy Phillips, Gloria Bresette; goddaughters Cayla Dadiego and Jenna Kroot Nelson; several nieces and nephews; and many, many more cousins.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland.
