Sophia Ifantides is sifting powdered sugar over Greek pastries at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in preparation for the church’s annual St. Fotini Bazaar which takes place the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The bazaar features many varieties of Greek phyllo wrapped savory items that are handmade by St. Fotini members and sold frozen. These can be ordered online from Nov. 13 to 20 and picked up the day of the event, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Greek sweet treats, like baklava, as well as gyros, can be purchased at the bazaar.
