Learn the answer to that question and other interesting Maine trivia at a free presentation by author Tim Caverly at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at the New Gloucester Public Library, 379 Intervale Road.
He has written and published eight books about Maine’s northern forest, and several of his short stories have been printed in newspapers, magazines and outdoor journals.
